Von Ochagavía aus folgen wir auf der spanischen Seite dem Pyrenäengebirge bis kurz vor die Atlantikküste. Den Atlantik schon kurz in Sicht verlassen wir Spanien und fahren in der französischen Stadt Hendaye an den Atlantikstrand. An der Strandpromenade genießen wir zur Mittagszeit mit Blick auf den Atlantik natürlich ein leckeres Fischmenü, bevor wir wieder zurück Richtung Osten fahren. Zum letzten Mal in dieser Tour durchqueren wir hier noch einmal Spanien, den Rest der Tour werden wir dann ausschließlich auf der französischen Seite reisen.
Am Abend übernachten wir in etwas außerhalb von Aramits in idyllischen chambres d'hôtes und haben uns somit schon wieder fast 100 km vom Atlantik entfernt.
From Ochagavía we follow the Spanish side of the Pyrenees Mountains until just before the Atlantic coast. The Atlantic already briefly in sight, we leave Spain and drive in the French city of Hendaye to the Atlantic beach. At the beach promenade, we enjoy lunch with a view of the Atlantic, of course, a delicious fish menu, before we head back east. For the last time in this tour we will cross Spain again, the rest of the tour we will travel exclusively on the French side.
In the evening we spend the night in an idyllic chambres d'hôtes just outside Aramits, so we are almost 100 km away from the Atlantic Ocean.
